LIFE IS BETTER WHEN YOU SHARE: ELEMENT PHASE 2
If you know anything about Shift Development, you know that we create great spaces. And like our other projects, we obsessed over the design and details of Element Phase 2 until we got beautiful, simple spaces that are easy to maintain, easy to furnish, and easy to love.
The funny thing is, that’s not the best part of this project.
The best part is the lifestyle that you can afford by choosing this as your home.
First example: love being active.
You don't need discipline or motivation to get out and go for a walk, run, bike. At Element Phase 2, you are perched on the edge of Victoria Park, steps away from the river (get out the paddle board), the tennis courts, the skate park, the workout gym—open your window and you can’t resist the call of those 7-acres.
We built Element for people who want a choice about whether they walk, bike, skate, paddle or drive to their destination. For people who want to play in the grass, without having to mow it.
Second lifestyle prop: let the neighbourhood feed you.
The city’s finest restaurants, bars, cafes and retail are popping up in Riversdale, making this THE place to be. Did I mention artisan ice cream? Yeah. Blocks away, seriously.
Third: don’t buy it, share it.
It’s all over the world. The sharing economy is booming because people would rather live light, travel often, and avoid the headache and maintenance of ownership. The more stuff, the more headaches.
Element is for people seeking a home with a community, and all the upsides of the sharing economy without the burden of ownership. So we created a beautiful, intimate courtyard to share—because we can think of a million things we’d rather spend money on than a lawn mower. We put in a kick ass Weber BBQ and pellet smoker for the community—no tiny patio hibachi here! We set up a solar-powered electric car share so you can eliminate the need for a second car…or a car at all.
We meet buyers all the time who want a home, but not renovations and maintenance that eat up precious weekends better spent with friends or out on the river.
So that’s what we mean when we say that Element prioritizes good living over things: use the parks, walk to a brew pub, run along the river, pick up ingredients at the Farmer’s Market. At Element this is everyday life.
